ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Retains Nearly 100% of its Premiere Week
Audience, Pulling its 2nd Best Weekly Numbers in Over 3 Months
“JKL” Betters NBC’s “Fallon” Across All Key Women Demos
Monday and Tuesday Airings Stand as “JKL’s”
Two Most-Watched Telecasts in Late Night Since JuneWeekly National Ratings:
During the week of September 27, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” retained nearly 100% of its Total Viewer audience (1.68 million vs. 1.69 million) and held 94% retention in Adults 18-49 (689,000 vs. 733,000) of its strong premiere week performance. In fact, “JKL” turned in its 2nd-best weekly numbers in over 3 months – since the week of 6/14/10. In addition, “JKL” was up in Total Viewers over the same week last year (1.66 million on w/o 9/28/09).
- “Jimmy Kimmel Live” bettered NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” during the week across all key Women demographics: Women 18-34 (+24% - 141,000 vs. 114,000), Women 18-49 (+15% - 413,000 vs. 358,000) and Women 25-54 (+5% - 488,000 vs. 464,000).
- “JKL’s” Monday (2.03 million – 9/27/10) and Tuesday (2.07 million – 9/28/10) airings drew the ABC late-night program’s two most-watched telecasts in late night since June – since 6/17/10.
