According to Nielsen Media Research, the 106 & PARK: 10 YEARS & COUNTING premiere on October 5 at 10:00 p.m. was viewed by 1.4 million viewers and delivered a fitting 1.06 coverage rating while the live telecast of 106 & PARK: THE CELEBRATION, 10 YEARS LIVE on October 6 at 6:00 p.m. was viewed by 1.1 million viewers making it the highest rated 106 & PARK telecast in 2010. During the 106 & PARK: THE CELEBRATION, 10 YEARS LIVE, hosts Terrence and Rocsi, along with former hosts AJ, Free, Tigga and Julissa, held simultaneous broadcasts from New York, Los Angeles and Charlotte bringing audiences the hottest artist and celebrities that over the years have made the show such a success.
The 106 & PARK: THE CELEBRATION, 10 YEARS LIVE telecast featured special appearances and performances by Ashanti, Bow Wow, Chris Brown, Nick Cannon, Ice Cube, Fabolous, Jamie Foxx, Keri Hilson, Ray J., Nelly, Jim Jones, Plies, Busta Rhymes, Juelz Santana, Trey Songz and Tristan Wilds.
