NFL GAMES MOST WATCHED SHOW ON TV IN EACH OF SEASON’S FIVE WEEKS

NFL telecasts have been TV’s most-watched program of the week in all five weeks of the NFL season, according to The Nielsen Company.

This week’s CBS national game (mostly Titans-Cowboys) topped the charts with 20.8 million viewers.

NFL games topped the local ratings in 23 NFL markets last week against competition including the MLB divisional playoffs. NFL games compared favorably in local ratings to prime-time competition:
