NASHVILLE – October 19, 2010 – CMT is celebrating the most successful and influential songs of the past ten years when it counts down country’s most popular videos in an all-new music special, CMT’S 40 GREATEST SONGS OF THE DECADE, premiering Saturday, November 13 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT. The two-hour special will pay tribute to the top 40 videos in country music from 2000-2010, ranging from rowdy party songs and working class anthems, to passionate and fiery love songs; all of which have become fan favorites and staples in country music over the last decade.
