Mad Men's fourth season finale on Sunday night averaged 2.44 million. That's up 5% from last year's finale that averaged 2.32 million.

Rubicon finished its first season with 1.04 million.  That's down from the 1.26 million its penultimate episode averaged.  I haven't seen the demo numbers yet, but Rubicon has typically averaged a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating.  Sure, there's a lot of  critical acclaim, but the ratings have been anemic even by AMC's standards.  Because it's cable and hard to predict, I won't say Rubicon has no chance, but it's white knuckle time.

We'll have the demo information later today and it will be posted in the daily cable ratings section.
