As usual, Sunday Night Football came out on top with adults 18-49, and Dancing with the Stars was tops in total viewers. Modern Family was the week's top scripted show with adults 18-49 with a 4.8 rating followed by Glee, Grey's Anatomy and Two and a Half Men. NCIS was the most-watched scripted show averaging 19.2 million viewers last Tuesday at 8pm.

It’s good to see Cougar Town in the top 25 A18-49 rating list!
It’s seriously getting annoying seeing an 8-minute show (Pre-Kick) on this list. Really? It’s bad enough having FBNIA divided into 3 parts for ratings purposes, but this is ridiculous. I imagine if I were ABC or FOX, I divided DWTS and AI into multiple parts: DWTS pre-dance; mid-dance, post-dance; pre-judge; post-judge, etc. Good grief.
Blue Bloods out of the top 25…wondering where Law and Order: LA ranks.

Sad that NBC only has one scripted show in the top 25 – they are really going to be hurting in the second half of the season unless their midseason shows miraculously do well.
The Mentalist usually does quite well in the overall ratings but this is the first time this season it has even hit the to 25 in the 18-49 age demo group. FANTASTIC!! WAY TO GO SIMON!!
So 11 additional episodes of Chuck makes it a total of 78 by the end of the Season. A Fifth and final season will see 100 episodes. Perfect for syndication!

It’s nice to see comedies dominating the ratings. I think that should be a sign to the network that they need to stop programming depressing and gory dramas and go for more light hearted shows.
I’m going to break my self-imposed omerta, or promise not to kvetch: I’m throwing out Glee, so take that into account. If anybody cares I have my possibly indefensible reasons ( Its a xculrtural phenomena, OK?) Avg rating for comedies 18-49 is # 13. Median for same is significantly below median for all shows. That is not domination. It is hanging in there, with numbers inflated by the number three and number comedy shows. Domination ought not be defined by just beimng there. If I had the time I bet I could show it isa sports and reality shows which dominate the numbers out of all proportion to their number of weekly appearances. Muhammed Ali dominated. Foreman and Norton were survivors. Not the same thing.
With these ratings, ABC better cancel Grey’s before it starts bringing them down.

huh?? Grey’s is ABC’s best scripted show (about tied with Modern Family, sometimes MF is higher and sometimes GA is higher).

LOL!! dude are you serious? “With these ratings?” ??!! Don’t forget that greys is in its 7th season and is sometimes beating modern family and was so close to beat glee (last week) although glee and MF are in their 2nd seasons. dude greys is the best thing that happened to abc in the past 7 years, i don’t think abc will take your advice and cancel it.

I have to digress. More or less, Grey’s Anatomy is tied with Desperate Housewives for being ABC’s best scripted show. Neither one consistently ranks better over the other.
NBC is deep in the dumps. The only way it managed to reach the Top 25 was through Sunday Night Football. Sad.
The older and female demographic of ABC VS the younger and male demographic of CBS. This is what it boils down to.
