ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Draws its Largest Audience Since June
“JKL” Beats CBS’ “Ferguson” in Viewers and Adults 18-49, Topping the
CBS Program for the 3rd Time in 5 Weeks This Season in Young Adults
“JKL” Betters NBC’s “Fallon” in Total Viewers for the 2nd Week in a Row
Weekly National Ratings:
During the week of October 18, 2010, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” saw week-to-week increases in both Total Viewers (1.73 million vs. 1.67 million) and Adults 18-49 (658,000 vs. 657,000), attracting the late-night program’s largest audience of the season. In fact, “JKL” drew its highest Total Viewer count in over 4 months – since w/o 6/14/10. In addition, for the 3rd time in 5 weeks of the season, “JKL” was up over the year-ago week in Total Viewers (1.65 million on w/o 10/19/09).
- ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” beat CBS’ “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” in Total Viewers (1.73 million vs. 1.65 million) and Adults 18-49 (658,000 vs. 610,000), topping the CBS late night program in the key young adult demo for the 3rd time in 5 weeks of the season.
- For the 2nd week in a row, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” bettered NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” in Total Viewers (1.73 million vs. 1.41 million). “JKL” also outperformed “Fallon” among Adults 25-54 (831,000 vs. 718,000) and Women 18-49 (399,000 vs. 365,000).
