Luther fell only 27,000 viewers in its second episode to 164,000 viewers on BBCA last Sunday between 10p-11:15. For the week ending October 24, BBCA average viewing in primetime dropped to 117,000. So Luther was still above average. But Luther fell from being BBCA's fourth best show last week to only tenth best this week.
Top Gear & Law & Order: UK still came out on top, but even a midnight encore of Law & Order: UK and a Friday 6pm Top Gear repeat came in ahead of Luther.
I'm including the full top ten this week as much as anything to quell the comments along the lines of "Why are they airing Star Trek: TNG?"
