
HLN (formerly Headline News) was being talked about last year as the ascendant star among Time Warner's cable news duo, but compared to October, 2009, its October, 2010 ratings have fallen more sharply than "Big Brother" CNN's.
HLN was down 35% in the cable news target adults 25-54 demo during primetime, and down 26% during the entire viewing day. HLN's average viewership fell 27% during primetime and 19% during the entire viewing day.
