“Two and a Half Men” Tops the Broadcast Networks in Adults 18-49;

“How I Met Your Mother” Tops in Adults 18-34

CBS Places First on the Night in Adults 18-49

Opposite Game Five of the World Series, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, TWO AND A HALF MEN and HAWAII FIVE-0 all posted week-to-week increases in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Monday, Nov. 1.

Note:  Due to live sports programming on FOX (World Series Game #5), ratings for FOX and time period rankings for all networks are tentative and subject to change.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.5/08, 9.00m) was first in adults 18-49 (3.7/10), adults 18-34 (3.2/10) and second in adults 25-54 (4.3/11).  Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +10% in both households (from 5.0/08) and adults 18-34 (from 2.9/09), +16% in both adults 25-54 (from 3.7/10) and adults 18-49 (from 3.2/09) and added +710,000 viewers (from 8.29m, +9%).

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (5.3/08, 8.84m) was tied for first in adults 18-34 (2.5/07, with ABC and FOX), second in adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09).  Compared to last week, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was up +8% in households (from 4.9/07), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 3.7/09), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/08), +19% in adults 18-34 (from 2.1/06) and added +670,000 viewers (from 8.17m, +8%).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 25-54 (5.9/13), adults 18-49 (4.7/11), adults 18-34 (3.0/08) and second in both households (8.2/12) and viewers (13.62m).  Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +5% in adults 25-54 (from 5.6/12), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 4.4/11) and +3% in adults 18-34 (from 2.9/08).

MIKE & MOLLY (6.8/10, 10.89m) was second in adults 25-54 (4.7/10) and averaged a 3.6/09 in adults 18-49.  Compared to last week, MIKE & MOLLY was up +3% in households (from 6.6/10), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/10) added +80,000 viewers (from 10.81m, +1%).

HAWAII FIVE-0 (6.7/11, 10.59m) was tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.0/10, with FOX) and second in adults 18-49 (3.0/08).  Compared to last week, HAWAII FIVE-0 was up +2% in households (from 6.6/11), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.7/09), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/08) and added +360,000 viewers (from 10.23m, +4%).

For the night, CBS (6.5/10, 10.59m) was tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.6/09, with ABC), second in adults 25-54 (4.5/10).
