Nielsen: Time Spent Watching TV Dropped Slightly in Q2; DVR Viewing on the Rise

Nielsen reports in its latest State of the Media fact sheet that TV Viewing both in number of users and hours and minutes of viewing was basically flat,  but dropped 14 minutes per month or two-tenths of a percent versus the previous year.  Meanwhile, the number of people watching TV on their DVRs increased more than 18% from the previous year.
