“THE NFL ON CBS” SCORES AGAIN WITH RATINGS IN WEEK 11 WITH 12% RISE
Indianapolis-New England Game Highlights Highest Rated Game of Weekend
THE NFL ON CBS’s Week 11 coverage, highlighted by the New England Patriots’, 31-28, win over the Indianapolis Colts in the Network’s national window of the doubleheader on Sunday, Nov. 21 (4:15 PM, ET), earned an average household rating/share of 16.7/30, up 12% from last year’s 14.9/28 in the metered markets. The Indy-Pats game was the highest-rated of the NFL weekend. The Network’s NFL pre-game show, THE NFL TODAY, scored a 2.8/7, up 17% from 2.4/6 in 2009.
The Network’s regional game window featuring the Houston-N.Y. Jets, Oakland-Pittsburgh, Baltimore-Carolina, Cleveland-Jacksonville and Buffalo-Cincinnati games, earned an average household rating/share of 11.1/23, even with last year’s 11.1/23, in the metered markets.
Through 11 weeks of the 2010 NFL season, THE NFL ON CBS has an average household rating/share in the metered markets of 12.8/25, up 10% from last year’s 11.6/23.
