NEW YORK — November 29, 2010 — The premiere of the 2010 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS on BET and CENTRIC on Sunday, November 28, at 9:00 P.M.* drew 3.9 Million total viewers garnering a 3.18 coverage rating among 2.7 million households according to The Nielsen Company. Hosted by Oscar-nominated actors Terrence Howardand Taraji P. Henson, the 2010 SOULTRAIN AWARDS is the #1 Q410 BET telecast (among households and viewers), the #1 4Q10 cable special among women and the #1 telecast on CENTRIC for calendar year 2010.
The 2010 SOULTRAIN AWARDS honored the outstanding careers of legendary artists Anita Baker and Ron Isleyand showcased today's hottest R&B artists with performances and appearances by R. Kelly, Erykah Badu, Michael Baisden, Bruno Mars, Jazmine Sullivan, Eric Benét, Fonzworth Bentley, Just Blaze, Kid Capri, Chilli, Keyshia Cole, El DeBarge, Faith Evans, Kim Fields, Cee Lo Green, Steve Harvey, Ray J, Tom Joyner, Kem, Biz Markie, Ne-Yo, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Lamman Rucker, Raven-Symoné, SWV, Wolf Blitzer and more.
