“GMA” Expands Total Viewing Lead Over CBS Year to Year

For the week of November 15, ABC’s “Good Morning America” averaged 4.640 million Total Viewers and a 1.4/11 among Adults 25-54. “GMA” grew the most (+7%) in Total Viewers vs. last year (NBC’s “Today” -1%, CBS’ “Early Show” +5%). The program also grew the most (+3%) in Total Viewers season to date, while NBC’s “Today” declined -5% and CBS’ “Early Show” was down -1%.

“GMA” narrowed the yearly total viewing gap with “Today” by -27% and the weekly total viewing gap by -2%.

Versus the prior year, “GMA” expanded its total viewing (1,710,000) lead over “Early Show” by +10%.

The Emmy Award-winning morning news program, featuring the anchor team of Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Sam Champion and Juju Chang, airs live Monday through Friday from 7:00-9:00 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
