CMT PREMIERES FIRST SITCOM “WORKING CLASS” FRIDAY, JANUARY 28 AT 8:00 P.M., ET/PT

Starring Melissa Peterman and Ed Asner, Back-to-Back New Episodes Air on January 28

Nashville – December 7, 2010 – WORKING CLASS, starring Melissa Peterman and Ed Asner, makes its network debutFriday, January 28 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT, followed by a second, all-new episode at 8:30 p.m., ET/PT.

WORKING CLASS stars Melissa Peterman (“Reba” and “The Singing Bee”) as single mom, Carli, who tries to give her kids a better life by moving them to an upscale suburb.  She quickly finds that making the transition to “the good life” is harder than she thought.  TV legend Ed Asner stars as the cranky, surly neighbor and co-worker, Hank; while TV newcomer and Broadway vet,Steve Kazee, plays Carli’s ladies-man brother. Patrick Fabian (“Big Love”) portrays Carli’s handsome boss.  Lachlan Buchanan(“Hung”), Courtney Merritt (“The Forgotten”) and Cameron Castaneda (“Melrose Place) round out the cast as Carli’s three children.

WORKING CLASS is executive produced by Jill Cargerman (“Spin City,” “Las Vegas,” “Gary Unmarried”) and Bryan Johnson of The Film Syndicate.
