National Doubleheader Window Scores a Season-High Rating/Share of 18.5/32
in Metered Markets for Week 14
THE NFL ON CBS’s Week 14 scores record marks with an average household rating/share in the metered markets of 18.5/32 up 12% for the Network’s national broadcast window on Sunday, Dec. 12. This is the highest-rated regular-season NFL game on any network in the 2010 season.
Highlighted by the New England-Chicago, Miami-New York Jets, Kansas City-San Diego and Denver-Arizona games, the national window of the Network’s doubleheader was THE NFL ON CBS’s highest-rated game(s) in the metered markets since the battle of the undefeated Patriots and Colts (22.5/39; 11/04/07).
Through 14 weeks of the 2010 NFL season, THE NFL ON CBS has an average household rating/share in the metered markets of 12.9/26, up 9% from last year’s 11.8/24. The Network’s NFL pre-game show, THE NFL TODAY, has a rating/share of 2.9/7, up 7% compared to last year’s 2.7/7 after 14 weeks.
