“GMA” Only Morning Show to Increase in Total Viewers Season to Date

GMA” Cuts Total Viewing Gap with NBC Week to Week and Year to Year

ABC’s “Good Morning America” averaged 4.68 million Total Viewers and a 1.4/10/1.75 million among Adults 25-54 for the week of December 6, 2010. Versus the prior week, “GMA” increased its total viewing audience by +2% (4.68 million vs. 4.58 million).

Season to date, “GMA” continues to be the only program up among Total Viewers vs. the same time last year (ABC: +4%, NBC: -4%, CBS: Flat).

“GMA” cut the total viewing gap with NBC’s “Today” week to week (-10%) and year to year
(-20%).

Note:  George Stephanopoulos broadcast from Afghanistan Monday 12/6/10 and was off Tuesday 12/7/10.

The Emmy Award-winning morning news program, featuring the anchor team of Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Sam Champion and Juju Chang, airs live Monday through Friday from 7:00-9:00 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
