With two Sunday Night Football nights in one week (one on Tuesday) NBC laid a ratings beat down on the mostly repeat and special competition from the rest of the broadcast networks averaging a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating. NBC's got the NFL wild card round game this Saturday night, so its current week's ratings should be reasonably good. Then they're looking at a huge plunge for the rest of the season.
CBS finished well back in second place with a 1.7 rating average, with Fox in third with a 1.6 rating average. ABC again finished fourth among broadcasters with a 1.5 rating average.
With the 2 SNF's NBC even managed to squeak past CBS for the press release friendly, but advertiser ignored, average viewership for the week.
