I’ve had a few emails, and at least one post comment about a recent Hollywood Reporter article (that was mostly about Charlie Sheen’s troubles) noting that all five CBS freshman shows were given an order for second season.

All five of its new shows – Mike & Molly, $#*! My Dad Says, Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods and The Defenders – have received second-season orders.

That’s simply mistaken.

The shows were all given full season orders for this season, and perhaps that’s where the confusion lies, but fans shouldn’t be popping any champagne corks yet.

Of existing CBS scripted shows, only Two And A Half Men and The Big Bang Theory have been renewed for next season.
