Tuesday Cable Snippets: ‘The Game’ Scores 5.9 Million, ‘Lights Out’ Down

After The Game averaged an amazing 7.7 million in its ressurected-on-BET premiere, it was still quite impressive in its second outing on BET, averaging 5.9 million.  More good news for BET, its original comedy Let’s Stay Together, while down 1.1 million from its premiere, still averaged 3.5 million viewers.  No demo numbers yet, but we should see them sometime Thursday.

I haven’t seen the numbers for Lights Out yet either, but FX’s head of PR John Solberg tweeted the disappointing news that it was down from last week’s premiere (1.487 million viewers, 0.6 adults 18-49 rating),  stable throughout the hour and that he hoped “we can grow it from here.”  We should see the actual numbers sometime on Thursday.
