On January 16, 2011, ABC News’ “This Week with Christiane Amanpour” drew 2.46 million Total Viewers and 660,000 Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Giffords; Daniel Hernandez, the intern who tended to Rep. Giffords after she was shot; Patricia Maisch, who helped retrieve the weapon; Col. William Badger (Ret.), who helped wrestle the gunman to the ground; Tucson Deputy Sheriff Richard Kastigar, and Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FLA), who is a friend of Rep. Giffords. Many other heroes and witnesses participated in the discussion from the audience.

Christiane Amanpour is the anchor of “This Week” and James Goldston is the executive producer. The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
