I haven't seen the adults 18-49 ratings yet, but last night MTV'sfell to 1.6 million viewers in its second episode. That's more than a 50 percent drop from last week's premiere (3.26 million) that was fueled by a special new episode of .
The carnage was worse with adults 18-34 (down from a 2.7 last week to a 1.0 last night) and a little worse with 12-34 (down to a 1.4 versus last week's 2.9).
It will be interesting to see how the demos held up. With so much controversy and advertiser backlash (not to mention the PTC) it will be interesting to see how patient MTV will be if the ratings continue to trend in the wrong direction.
