State of the Union Address Averages 42.8 Million Viewers, Down 11% from 2010

Per Nielsen, last night’s State of the Union Address averaged 42,789,947 viewers across 11 networks (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, TEL, UNI, CNN, Centric, CNBC, FOXNC, and MSNBC.).  That’s down 11% from 2010 and 18% from 2009, but still 14% above George W. Bush’s address in 2008.
