‘This Week with Christiane Amanpour’ Grows Adults 25-54 Demographic 20% from Previous Week

AND TOTAL VIEWERS (+5%) FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK
On January 23, 2011, ABC News’ “This Week with Christiane Amanpour” drew 2.58 million Total Viewers and 790,000 Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.
For the second time in three weeks, “This Week” improved on the previous week in both Total Viewers (+5%) and Adults 25-54 (+20%).
Sunday on “This Week:” Senators Joe Lieberman (I-CT), Kent Conrad (D-ND), and Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) joined anchor Christiane Amanpour to discuss the State of the Union address, the call for a new tone in Washington, and why this congressional class will be their last. Political strategist Donna Brazile, 2008 Nobel Prize-winner and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, political strategist and ABC News contributor Matthew Dowd, and ABC News’ George Will joined Ms. Amanpour for the roundtable discussion.
Christiane Amanpour is the anchor of “This Week” and James Goldston is the executive producer. The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
