New York, February 1, 2011 – HISTORY kicks off the year with its best January ever with year over year growth in all key demos. Bolstered by the success of the new season ofand premiere episodes of and , HISTORY experienced double digit growth.
Total Viewers: 1.8 million up +29% from January 2010
A25-54 impressions: 884,000 up +24%
A18-49 impressions: 800,000 up +21%
A18-34 impressions: 341,000 up +23%
M25-54 impressions: 574,000 up +23%
M18-49 impressions: 517,000 up +20%
M18-34 impressions: 220,000 up +23%
On Monday,and set new records across key demos. At 10pm Pawn garnered: 4.0 million A25-54, 3.7 million A18-49 and 7.3 million total viewers; and at 10:30pm, Pawn attracted 4.3 million A25-54, 4.0 million A18-49 and 7.7 million total viewers.
From 10-11pm HISTORY was the #1 network in all of television (broadcast & cable) in Men and Adults (18-34, 18-49 and 25-54). As well, the 10:30pm telecast of Pawn is the network’s best of all time across all key demos.
Pickers also set a record for itself with 3.3 million A25-54, 2.6 million A18-49 and 6.6 million total viewers.
History was also the #1 network (broadcast and cable) from 8-11p last night with men (18-49 and 25-54).
On Sunday,was #1 vs. all of cable in the 9-10pm time period with 1.7 million A25-54 and A18-49 impressions.
