Rentrak released some data I find interesting, if a bit difficult to explain. Rentrak's year-end Stickiness Index is an engagement metric based on an analysis of the average percent viewed of the top 500 series watched by all viewers during 2010, divided by the average percentage viewed for all series of corresponding duration during Monday-Saturday primetime (8pm-11pm) and Sunday primetime (7pm-11pm).
To simplify a bit, the data below isn't saying that more people watched Army Wives than Rizzoli & Isles, but that the average Army Wives viewer on average watched more of Army Wives than the average Rizzoli & Isles viewer watched Rizzoli & Isles.
