ESPN Deportes’ Highly Anticipated Sports and Entertainment New Variety Show, Nación ESPN, to Premiere Monday, Feb. 14 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT
Co-hosted by ESPN Deportes’ newscasters Adriana Monsalve(SportsCenter) and David Faitelson (Cronómetro, Fútbol Picante), the show is fueled by fan interaction and will be the network’s first to be produced from ESPN’s studios in Los Angeles
ESPN Deportes announced today the addition of a new program Nación ESPN, modeled after ESPN’s hugely popular and Emmy-winning show SportsNation, which will premiere onMonday, Feb. 14. Hosted by ESPN Deportes’ charismaticAdriana Monsalve (former anchor of SportsCenter) and legendary Mexican sports journalist, David Faitelson (Cronómetro, Fútbol Picante), this will be the network’s first program to be produced from ESPN’s new studios at L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Nación ESPN will air Monday through Friday at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.
Nación ESPN is a culturally relevant, creative series that will cater above all to the voice of the sports fan. The hour-long show will inform, interact, and amuse, to serve fans with the information they want --highlights, statistics, expertise and analysis. Fueled by heavy fan interaction via social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter, as well as polls and telephone calls, the show provides unprecedented control to the Spanish-language sports fan as fans will provide ideas and angles covered in the show.

David Faitelson is an internationally recognized, renowned sports journalist who joined ESPN Deportes in 2007, after spending more than two decades as a sports reporter in Mexico. He is an analyst and host for some of the network’s top shows including Cronómetro, Fútbol Picante and ESPN Deportes Radio’s morning show, Raza Deportiva. Faitelson is best known for his insightful reports in his popular segment, ‘El Color de Faitelson’. Venezuelan born Adriana Monsalve is an engaging, charismatic and versatile anchor that for over five years was the only female face and voice of ESPN Deportes’ SportsCenter. She has interviewed some of the biggest names in sports during her career and covered from the red carpet the highly anticipated ESPYs for ESPN Deportes.
Nación ESPN’s engaging and unique format is made up of fun and light-hearted segments from interviews with athletes and entertainment celebrities to foosball and video game competitions. The show’s segments include:‘The Interview’, featuring high profile athletes, coaches, actors, singers, comedians or Latino public figures sharing their passion for sports and funny personal stories about their lives and careers; ‘The Competition’, friendly competitions between the show’s hosts and guests; ‘Gametime’, a revolutionary way to debate about current events; and segments featuring photos from fans allowing viewers to share their love for sports with a national audience. Nación ESPN is presented by Toyota joined by Farmers Insurance, Burger King, AT&T and Miller Lite.
