Second-by-Second ‘Super Bowl’ TV Viewing Revealed; 98.8% Stayed Tuned For The Ads
Ever wondered how the TV viewership trend looks for a big event like the Super Bowl?
The spiffy chart below (via The Morning Bridge) shows the second by second TV viewership trend for Sundays Super Bowl compiled by Rentrak, complete with commercial breaks and the halftime show highlighted. The Morning Bridge noted that viewers stayed tuned to the ads at a 98.8% rate.
I’m surprised that the viewership trend is as steep as it is, I’d have guessed it would have been somewhat flatter.
