MIAMI, FL, FEBRUARY 18, 2010 – With the star-studded broadcast of its annual “Premio Lo Nuestro®” Latin Music Awards, the longest-running Spanish-language Latin music awards show in television history, Univision was the #2 broadcast network last night among all Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC, CBS and NBC.  The 23rd edition of the Latin music gala, hosted by actress and comedienne Angélica Vale and actor and TV host Jaime Camil, reached 11 million viewers who watched some or all of the broadcast, which included performances by some of the biggest artists in the industry including Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Lucero, Maná, Juanes, Cristian Castro, Jenni Rivera, and many more.

“Premio Lo Nuestro 2011” also positioned Univision as the #4 broadcast network for the night, regardless of language, among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Women 18-49, ahead of NBC; as well as among Men 18-49, ahead of ABC.

Additional Network Highlights:

  • “Premio Lo Nuestro 2011” delivered an average audience of 5.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 3.1 million Adults 18-49, 1.8 million Adults 18-34 and 2.2 million Persons 12-34.
  • The Latin music awards show was the fourth most-watched program on all of broadcast television last night, regardless of language, among Adults 18-34 and fifth among Persons 12-34.
  • With “Premio Lo Nuestro,” Univision Network delivered more viewers in key demos during Thursday’s broadcast prime than first-run episodes of:
