SONS OF GUNS CONTINUES TO FIRE ON ALL CYLINDERS

– Nearly 2 Million Watch Discovery’s New Hit Wednesday Series at 9:30 –

On Wednesday, February 23, 2011, Discovery Channel’s line-up finished with three programs in the top 5 for M25-54 non-fiction delivery.  SONS OF GUNS (#1, #3) and DESERT CAR KINGS (#4) all showed double-digit gains vs. their respective time slots in 1Q10.  

The 9PM premiere of SONS OF GUNS, Movie Gun/Leopard Gun, delivered 1.66 million viewers (P2+), making it Wednesday night’s #3 non-fiction cable program among M25-54; #5 overall (no exclusions).  The 9:30PM premiere of Remote Control Machine Gun, fired an even bigger audience up delivering 1.99 million people (P2+), placing as the #1 non-fiction cable program among M25-54/M18-49; #2 overall (no exclusions).

Along with the 10PM premiere of DESERT CAR KINGS, Pickup Line, finishing as the #4 non-fiction program among M25-54 delivery last night, Discovery was the #3 ad-supported cable network for delivery in primetime among M18-49.
