CBS NEWS’ “FACE THE NATION” DELIVERED ITS LARGEST AUDIENCE SINCE JANUARY 9, 2011
CBS’ “FACE THE NATION” posted its largest audience since January 9, 2011, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for February 27, 2011. The CBS broadcast averaged a 2.1/06 with 3.13m viewers and 0.8/04 in adults 25-54.
Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION was up +6% in viewers (from 2.96m) and even in both households and adults 25-54. The broadcast has bested ABC in viewers 28 of the last 31 weeks.
On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed Governor Chris Christie, R-N.J.; CBS News correspondent Kelly Cobiella reported from Tripoli; and CBS News correspondent Allen Pizzey reported from Tunisia.
FACE THE NATION is broadcast Sundays (10:30-11:00 AM, ET; check local listings) on the CBS Television Network. Carin Pratt is the Executive Producer.
