We still have Chuck as a toss-up for renewal, but its grasp on the bubble is indeed tenuous as it hit a series lows last week with a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating. Was it daylight saving time? Was it people spending extra time prepping for Snooki's appearance on WWE Raw? Was it people thinking "The Event is on at 9pm, I need to stay as far away from NBC as possible!"?
The Event is still on at 9pm tonight, but Snooki isn't on WWE Raw tonight and people have had a week to acclimate to daylight saving time. Unlike last week, tonight Chuck faces the premiere of Dancing with the Stars. Historically, show's don't rebound much after the initial DST-related drops.
Last year the Monday before DST, Chuck scored a preliminary 2.3 adults 18-49 rating. The first Monday after DST started, Chuck scored a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating and the following Monday another 1.9 (also up against the premiere of Dancing with the Stars).
