SEASON TO DATE, 'TONIGHT' IS UP 29 PERCENT IN TOTAL VIEWERS VS. LAST YEAR AND JIMMY FALLON GROWS BY 18 PERCENT

'Last Call WITH CARSON DALY' IS UP SEASON TO DATE BY 8 PERCENT IN 18-49 VIEWERS AND 21 PERCENT IN TOTAL VIEWERS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – March 24, 2011 – NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” has tied for #1 in adult 18-49 rating for the week of March 14-18 and finished #1 outright in total viewers versus CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," while prevailing in both categories over ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Note that Thursday and Friday CBS telecasts are excluded from these averages due to NCAA Basketball overruns.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" topped CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and ABC's "Kimmel" in viewers 18-49, total viewers, viewers 18-34, viewers 25-54 and other key categories.

Versus the first 26 weeks of last season, "Tonight" is up by 29 percent in total viewers (3.875 million vs. 2.994 million), while "Late Show" is down 12 percent (3.598 million vs. 4.100 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon is up 18 percent versus his year-ago pace in total viewers (1.775 million vs. 1.508 million), while "Late Late Show" is down 8 percent (1.770 million vs. 1.925 million).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" is up so far this season versus one year ago by 8 percent in 18-49 viewers (498,000 vs. 461,000) and up 21 percent in total viewers (1.003 million vs. 829,000).

Jay Leno has ranked #1 for 24 of 26 weeks this season versus "Late Show" in viewers 18-49 and total viewers. Jimmy Fallon has ranked #1 versus "Late Late Show" in viewers 18-49 for 26 of 26 weeks this season. In total viewers, Jimmy has won 15 of the last 18 weeks versus "Late Late Show."
