
The date for The Oprah Winfrey Show's final new telecast has been set, and it's Wednesday May 25. Repeats of the show will run into September. Oprah has maintained that she would not do a regular talk show on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey network. But given the struggling ratings for OWN and that after the September's syndicated reruns stop, she at least could do a new show on her cable network, look for speculation to mount.
For those who missed the following info earlier due to the sea of Fringe renewal posts:
- FX is reportedly close to renewing both Justified and Archer.
- ABC announced most of its summer schedule
- Jersey Shore's finale was up, but didn't set series highs for viewers
- Across CBS and the Turner Networks, ratings for the NCAA Men's basketball championship tournament are up 17 percent.
