ABC NEWS TO BROADCAST LIVE COVERAGE OF PRESIDENT OBAMA’S SPEECH ON LIBYA, MONDAY, MARCH 28 AT 7:30 P.M., ET

ABC News will broadcast live coverage of President Obama’s speech on Libya, MONDAY, MARCH 28 at 7:30 p.m., ET / 4:30 p.m., PT. Speaking from the National Defense University in Washington, DC, the President plans to update the American people on the military action taken in Libya. Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos will anchor ABC News’ live coverage, with Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper and Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz reporting.

 

ABCNews.com will live stream the ABC News special report and will engage users via Facebook Connect and Tweetbeat, among other social media. Special coverage includes video clips and analysis on ABC News’ digital platforms, including the ABC News iPad and iPhone app, which have been downloaded 800,000 and 1.3 million times, respectively, as well as mobile, smartphone, and HTML5 sites.
