UNIVISION ANNOUNCES THE 12 “NUESTRA BELLEZA LATINA” (OUR LATIN BEAUTY) FINALISTS IN THE RACE FOR THE COVETED CROWN

Tensions Rise as the Most Crucial Stage of the Competition Begins

MIAMI, FL, MARCH 29, 2011 – Sunday night, during the toughest and most nerve-wrecking elimination round on Univision’s hit beauty reality show “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) to-date, 12 finalists were chosen to Go On to the next crucial stage of the competition and continue fighting for the crown and $250,000 in cash and prizes, including an exclusive contract with Univision Network. Surviving several weeks of scrupulous eliminations, the 12 lucky contestants shined brightest among the 89 lovely and talented young Latinas that made it through weeks of multiple city auditions. Now, the finalists must prepare to face the most challenging round yet – the race for the coveted crown and an opportunity of a lifetime.

The fortunate 12 have earned a place in the beautiful Miami mansion where they must now live together for the remainder of the competition. Throughout the next several weeks, the contestants must master their skills in everything from modeling, presenting and acting, to dancing and runway, as well as demonstrate a unique sense of style. The beauties must also keep their fitness up to par, and prove how versatile they can be when put to the test.

“Nuestra Belleza Latina’s” panel of experienced celebrity judges which includes former Miss Universe Lupita Jones, telenovelas’ handsome leading man Julián Gil, and the renowned, smart-mouthed beauty pageant coach Osmel Sousa, will continue offering their verdicts, helping viewers at home vote for their favorites and see them rise to the top.
