“Yo Acuso/ I Accuse”- Host Teresa Rodríguez will present an exclusive interview with Walid Makled, one of the three Most Wanted drug kingpins in the world who is detained in Colombia. In a candid, emotionally-charged interview from the Colombian prison where he is awaiting extradition, Makled makes serious accusations against several high ranking officials in President Hugo Chavez’ government and reveals details of an extensive drug trafficking network that spanned from Venezuela, to Mexico and ultimately, the United States. Makled is accused of transporting 10 tons of cocaine each month to North America and Europe. In this exclusive interview, the drug lord discloses compromising documents that reveal how alleged multi-million dollar bribes and the knowledge and approval of generals, ministers, congressmen and many others within the Chavez government, allowed him to run his empire, which is now estimated to be worth billions of dollars.
