CBS NEWS’ “FACE THE NATION” BEATS ABC IN HOUSEHOLDS, VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS
“Face the Nation” Up 14% in Adults 25-54 in the First Quarter
CBS News’ FACE THE NATION beat ABC in households, viewers and key demographics, posting a 2.0/06 with 2.91m viewers, 0.7/03 in adults 25-54 and 0.9/04 in “boomers” adults 35-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, March 27.
CBS has beaten ABC in viewers 32 of the last 35 weeks. In the first quarter 2011, FACE THE NATION was up +14% in adults 25-54 (0.8/03 from 0.7/03), even in both households (2.1/05) and viewers (3.00m) compared to first quarter 2010.
On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; CBS News correspondent Elizabeth Palmer reported from Tripoli.
