Season Premiere of "America's Best Dance Crew" Averages 2.4 Million Viewers

The Season of the Superstars got off to a quick start last night as the sixth season premiere of Warner Horizon Television’s “Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” on MTV (Thursdays 10/9c) – featuring the show’s crews performing routines inspired by the music of Lil Wayne – delivered a 1.77 rating among Persons 12–34, retaining 95% of its season five premiere average and improving +12% over the program’s season five average telecast rating (1.58) in the demo.

  • The show also delivered a 2.13 rating among Teens 12–17, up +10% from its season five average telecast rating (1.93) in the demo
  • “America’s Best Dance Crew” was the #1 show on cable television last night among Adults 18-34 (1.64 rating), Women 18-34 (2.21), Women 18-49 (1.50), Persons 12-34 (1.77), Females 12-34 (2.37) and Female Teens 12-17 (2.84)
  • “America’s Best Dance Crew” delivered 2.39 million viewers, retaining 98% of its season five premiere of 2.43 million
  • Versus all primetime programming last night on television (including network TV), “Dance Crew” ranked #4 in Women 18-34, #3 in Females 12-34 and #2 in Female Teens

“Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” is produced by Warner Horizon Television. The executive producers are “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson, Joel Gallen, Josh Greenberg, Hip Hop International’s creators Howard Schwartz and Karen Schwartz, Rob Lee, Harriet Sternberg and Abe Hoch.
