Next Wednesday's 10pm hour for ABC was originally scheduled to be a new Happy Endings at 10pm followed by a repeat of Modern Family at 10:30pm.

Now the Modern Family repeat has been replaced by the Happy Endings episode that was scheduled to air on April 27 at 10pm (and another HE episode has been moved to 10pm on 4/27, an MF repeat is still currently scheduled for 10:30pm on 4/27).

Is ABC already trying to burn off as many Happy Endings episodes as possible before the May sweeps period (which begins on April 28)?

What ABC eventually schedules on Wednesday beginning on May 4 will reveal their motives, but until then get out your tea leaves!
