In the 32nd week of the 35 week broadcast season (April 25- May 1), Fox was again ahead of the pack in the primetime adults 18-49 ratings competition for the week averaging a 2.7 adults 18-49 .
ABC was again in an atypically high second place with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating for the week, same rating as the comparable week a year ago, so much for the soap fan boycott. Thanks to, NBC finished in third with a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating. CBS finished fourth with a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating average. Univision was in fifth with a 1.3 adults 18-49 average. The CW finished sixth with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating average.
For the first time in a long while someone besides CBS was on top of the press release friendly, but revenue meaningless, average viewership for the week, with ABC averaging 8.66 million viewers. Trailing them were CBS 8.43 million, Fox 8.07m, NBC 5.85m, Univision 3.40m, and the CW 1.76m.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.315 million adults 18-49.
