DAVE GETS AN UNEXPECTED VISITOR DURING TONIGHT’S MONOLOGUE WHEN STEPHEN COLBERT DROPS BY THE SHOW, ON CBS’S “Late Show with DAVID LETTERMAN,” WEDNESDAY, MAY 4

David Letterman gets a surprise during tonight’s monologue when fellow talk show host Stephen Colbert drops by the show, on the Late Show with DAVID LETTERMAN, Wednesday, May 4.

While Letterman was in the middle of telling a monologue joke at the top of the show, Colbert comes out onstage and starts rummaging around Letterman’s desk.  Find out what Colbert was looking for and what Letterman has to say about this unexpected interruption on the Late Show tonight (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT).   Colbert’s surprise visit will also be broadcast tonight on his late night talk show, “The Colbert Report,” which airs opposite the Late Show.

Also visiting the LATE SHOW tonight are actress Betty White, who talks about her new book, If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won’t), which was released Tuesday; Rick Harrison, star of the reality television show, “Pawn Stars”; and musical guests Morning Teleportation.
