In the 33rd week of the 35 week broadcast season (May 2-8), Fox was again ahead of the pack in the primetime adults 18-49 ratings competition for the week averaging a 2.8 adults 18-49 .
ABC was again in an atypically high second place with a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating for the week, same rating as the comparable week a year ago, so much for the internet echo chamber soap fan boycott. CBS finished third with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating average. Even with, NBC finished fourth with a 2.0 adults 18-49 average. Univision was in fifth with a 1.3 adults 18-49 average. The CW finished sixth with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating average.
Once again, CBS was on top of the press release friendly, but revenue meaningless, average viewership for the week averaging 10.00 million viewers. Trailing them were ABC 9.09 million, Fox 8.44m, NBC 5.73m, Univision 3.37m, and the CW 1.71m.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.315 million adults 18-49.
