MIAMI, FL – JUNE 9, 2011 – Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America, today announced that its exclusive coverage of the USA vs. Canada soccer match – part of the 2011 CONCACAF Copa Oro (Gold Cup) tournament – led TeleFutura to a big win over Telemundo in the 8-10 p.m. ET time period, outdelivering its Spanish-language rival by 11 percent among Persons 2+ (940,000), 40 percent among Adults 18-49 (628,000) and 18 percent among Adults 18-34 (321,000).* Through six matches thus far, the 2011 Copa Oro is outpacing the 2009 tournament across Univision Communications platforms.**
