ABC Family’sThe Secret Life of the American Teenager delivered its 2nd-best numbers of its fourth season in Viewers 12-34 (1.8 million/1.9 rating) and Females 12-34 (1.4 million/3.1 rating), and tied its airing on 6/27/11 as the series’ No. 2 telecast this season in Adults 18-34 (1.6 rating), Women 18-34 (2.5 rating), Adults 18-49 (1.2 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.9 rating).

 

  • Against all Monday telecasts, “Secret Life” tied “Switched at Birth” as the No. 1 scripted TV telecast in Women 18-34 and Women 18-49, and was TV’s No. 2 telecast in Females 12-34 and Female Teens, behind “Switched at Birth.”

 

  • At 8 o’clock, “Secret Life” qualified as TV’s No. 1 telecast in Viewers 12-34, Females 12-34, Teens and Females Teens, cable’s No. 1 telecast in Adults 18-34 and Women 18-34 and cable’s No. 1 scripted telecast in Total Viewers.

 

“Switched at Birth” (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

 

Growing its audience for the third consecutive week, ABC Family’s breakout hit original series “Switched at Birth” hit series highs in Viewers 12-34 (1.9 million/2.0 rating), Teens 12-17 (762,000/3.1 rating) and Female Teens (659,000/5.5 rating), and tied as the show’s No. 1 telecast ever in Adults 18-49 (1.7 million/1.3 rating – tied series premiere, 6/6/11) and Females 12-34 (1.5 million/3.3 rating – tied 6/13/11). In Total Viewers, “Switched at Birth” delivered its 2nd-largest audience ever, falling just shy of its series launch on 6/6/11 (3.1 million vs. 3.3 million).

 

  • Switched at Birth” stood as TV’s No. 1 telecast in Females 12-34 and Female Teens, and tied “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” as TV’s No. 1 scripted telecast in Women 18-34 (2.5 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.9 rating).

 

  • At 9 o’clock, “Switched at Birth” was TV’s No. 1 telecast in Viewers 12-34, Females 12-34, Teens and Females Teens, and was TV’s No. 1 scripted TV telecast in the hour in Adults 18-49, Women 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Women 18-34.
