Where's The Love? Carson Daly Repeat Ties Letterman Original, Beats Ferguson & Kimmel Originals in Preliminary 18-49 Ratings

Last night's encore of 'Last Call with Carson Daly" scored a 0.5 rating with adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters. That tied it with an original "Late Show with David Letterman" and put it ahead of "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" which each scored a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating in the Local People Meter markets.

Considering that 'Last Call' was a repeat that began two hours later than an original Letterman, 90 minutes later than an original Kimmel and an hour later than an original Ferguson...

"Last Call's" encore's scheduled guests were Emmy Rossum and Jeff Treamine with musical gues Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion. Here are last night's full preliminary late-night ratings via NBC press notes:

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

  • In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.1/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.7/6; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.2/3.

 

  • In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; "Nightline," 0.9/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

 

  • At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).

 

  • At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.5/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
