Tuesday, August 02, 2011 – HISTORY experienced its best July of all time with regularly scheduled hit series leading the charge on Sunday nights – withand – Monday nights – with and – Thursday nights – with – and Friday nights – with .
July 2011 vs. July 2010:
- Total Viewers: 2.1 million vs. 1.5 million, up +40%
- Adults 25-54: 1.0 million vs. 756,000, up +32%
- Adults 18-49: 914,000 vs. 681,000, up +34%
For the second consecutive month, HISTORY ranked #2 in primetime among Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49.
HISTORY’s July 11th crossover event – featuring a lineup of its wildly popular “trash-to-treasure” strand, and – scored a round of stellar ratings for the network from 9-11pm with an average of 6.7 million total viewers, 3.1 million Adults 25-54 and 2.9 million Adults 18-49. And over the course of a week, over 30 million viewers tuned-in to a portion of the crossover event.
Season 2 ofwrapped on Thursday, July 21 with a series high of 5.5 million total viewers, 2.8 million Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49. Overall, the season averaged 4.1 million total viewers, 2.1 million Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49, and was up 32% v season 1.
’s second season premiered on Sunday, July 24 at 10pm to 2 million total viewers, 1.2 million Adults 18-49 and 1.1 million Adults 25-54. The second week of season 2, on Sunday, July 31 at 10pm, drew a best-ever for the series with 2.13 million total viewers.
