
On Saturday morning following the historic S&P credit downgrade on Friday, Fox's Neil Cavuto anchored the highest-rated program in total viewers on the cable news networks for the entire weekend. The two-hour special 'The Cost of Freedom' averaged 1.544 million viewers. The program was second for the weekend (to 'Fox & Friends Weekend' ) with adults 25-54 with 434K viewers 25-54.
It was the second highest-rated 'Cost of Freedom' in 2011 trailing the 3/12/11 telecast on the heels of the Japan earthquake. Saturday's 'Cost of Freedom' beat its combined competition.
