Friday Cable: 'Storage Wars' Tops Primetime; 'Smackdown' Falls; 'Haven,' 'Thundercats' Steady & More

There was a multiple-way tie among adults 18-49 in primetime, though the day's highest rated shows were animated repeats on Adult Swim in the late-night daypart. A&E's Storage Wars tied for the primetime lead with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with an American Dad repeat, the 2009 installment of Fast & Furious on USA, and a Friday Night Smackdown! that was down a tenth from the previous week. The ThunderCats was steady with a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and Haven was steady with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating.

Update 2: Torchwood: Miracle Day scored 581,000 viewers and a 0.25 adults 18-49 rating, almost identical to last week's 582,000 and 0.25 adults 18-49 rating (thank @TVBill for the data!)

Update 1: also not in the table below, but the debut of Cinemax's Strike Back scored 567,000 viewers at 10pm out of the A-Team telecast (which is in the table below). The 11pm and midnight encores added over another 500,000 viewers, bringing the total to 1.1 million. Note: Cinemax is in approximately 16.5 million households versus 30 million for HBO and 35 million for Starz (you can see the Nielsen estimates of other channels as of July here).

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100. I attempt to filter out repeats, kids shows, and most non-primetime shows. Will add extras that @TravisYanan reports later below.
