Monday Cable: 'Pawn Stars,' Jets-Texans, 'WWE RAW' Lead + 'Closer,' 'Rizzoli,' 'Warehouse 13' & Much More

Pawn Stars led the night with a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating, down 0.2 from its highest-rated telecast last Monday. The preseason NFL game on ESPN between the New York Jets and Houston Texans scored a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49. WWE Raw's two epiosdes scored a 1.9 and 1.8 adults 18-49 rating in their respective airings each up 0.2 from last week. 

Secret Life of the American Teenager which was steady with  a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating at 8pm. The Basketball Wives reunion special was up 0.1 from its season finale last week to a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating.

Rizzoli & Isles was steady with a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and The Closer was down a tenth to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating.   Per TNT:

last night’s episode of TNT’s hit series Rizzoli & Isles ranked as basic cable’s most-watched program of the day, with an outstanding 6,742,000 viewers, the show’s biggest Live + Same Day audience of season. Rizzoli & Isles also drew 1.7 million adults 18-49 and 2.2 million adults 25-54.

Nearly matching Rizzoli & Isles, TNT’s The Closer scored 6,725,000 viewers last night, up 3% over the prior week. In addition, The Closer garnered 1.6 million adults 18-49 (+5% vs. the prior week) and 2.1 million adults 25-54 (+2%).

Rizzoli & Isles and The Closer are currently in a tight race as basic cable’s top scripted series of 2011.

Eureka was steady with a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating and Warehouse 13 was steady with a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating. Alphas was down a tenth to a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating.

Teen Wolf was up another tenth in its first season finale to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.

Kate Plus 8 won't be back after this season, but last night's episode was up a tenth from last week to a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating for the 9pm episode.

Update: The Lying Game got off to a disappointing start with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.386 million viewers. retentionistas will note that's just 45% retention out of Secret Life, and was also 62% lower than than the debut for Switched At Birth back in June.

Weeds averaged a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating and 670,000 viewers at 10pm and The Big C averaged a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating and 527,000 viewers at 10:30p. (thanks for the Showtime and Lying Game numbers go to our friend @TVBill).

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our (non-TravisYanan) source, and several typical TravisYanan featured shows were not on the list. Will add extras that Travis reports later below. I generally filter out repeats, and kids shows, and non-primetime shows.
